The response to the pandemic saw public procurement reaching £357bn in 2021/22, an increase of 17% on the previous year, with innovation proving to be critical to that response resulting in the Ventilator Challenges Programme delivering over 15,000 ventilators.

However, with the new procurement regulations, how can public sector leaders learn from procurement during the pandemic to support recovery and build back better?
