Year-long extension to G-Cloud 12 framework announced

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has officially extended its G-Cloud 12 framework agreement for a further 12 months to allow improvements to the customer journey.

Extending the framework end date from September 27, 2021 through to September 27, 2022, CCS will work to improve accessibility, search functionality and the presentation of the Digital Marketplace platform ahead of delivering the next iteration of the G-Cloud framework agreement.

The G-Cloud platform helps provide public sector organisations an easy-to-access, compliant marketplace of digital cloud software and services.

CCS will consult with suppliers and customers over the planned changes to ensure it meets the needs of all using the platform.

Updated information around G-Cloud 13, the next iteration of the agreement, will also be provided in the near future via the Digital Marketplace and the Upcoming Deals page.

As part of CCS’ announcement, it reiterated to suppliers Clause 3.2 and 3.7 of the framework agreement which means that despite the extension, suppliers on the framework do not have the right to increase pricing or materially change services.

Further information is available regarding the G-Cloud 12 extension by contacting CCS directly at: [email protected]

Ep 51. Diversity, equality and representation with Stuart Love, Chief Executive of Westminster City Council

It is the role of local government leaders to make the decisions that will best deliver for the communities that they represent. That much is obvious.

How can they do this, however, if they are not accurately representative of those very communities?

Great strides have been made in ensuring that everyone, regardless of their ethnicity, race, gender, or social class is represented in some way within local government. Chief Executive of Westminster City Council Stuart Love joins host Dan Benn to talk about why this work is important, the different work that is being done in Westminster, and how his background influences his stance on equality and diversity.
