Institute announces call for entries to the IT training industry's most prestigious annual awards ceremony
The Institute of IT Training has announced the call for entries to the IT training industry's most prestigious annual awards ceremony, The IT Training Awards.
The awards recognise and celebrate outstanding examples of high standards, best practice, innovation and excellence across the IT Training industry. Now in their 12th year, the awards are firmly established as the benchmark for excellence in the IT training industry
For trainers and training companies in an increasingly competitive marketplace finding a differentiating factor can sometimes be difficult. Quality awards, endorsements and recommendations are becoming more and more relied upon in purchasing decisions. An IT training award from the Institute of IT Training will make all the difference and the Institute is now calling for entries for the 2008 awards.
The 12th IITT IT Training Awards will again take place at the Dorchester Hotel on Thursday 7th February 2008 with a ceremony attended by the most influential industry figures.
The Institute is inviting entries for a host of categories including; training company of the year, training department of the year, trainer of the year, learning centre of the year, e-learning project of the year and the Colin Corder award for services to IT training. Award winners not only receive their award to display, they will also benefit from post event recognition, and exclusive use of an IITT IT training award winners' logo for their promotional literature. The closing date for applications for the awards is 31st October 2007.
IITT are also inviting sponsors to recognise excellence in their industry. QA-IQ sponsored the training department of the year (public sector) at the 2007 awards. Leah McTaggart, head of market development, said: "At QA-IQ we believe that a strong investment in skills should be rewarded, so we were delighted to sponsor the IITT's award for public sector training department of the year. Our experience tells us that demonstrating the value of learning is a priority and can sometimes be challenging. The IITT awards give teams the opportunity to demonstrate the benefits of their investment in learning and the hard work that they have put in to achieve this.'
The Training Camp has been awarded training company of the year in 2006 and 2007. Robert Chapman, director and co-founder of the Training Camp said: "Winning this award for the second year in a row is a great testimony to all the hard work our staff have put into building and shaping The Training Camp's success over the past 6 years. Given our unique and unusual methodologies to be awarded these accolades allow us to confidently demonstrate to our customers and prospects that they are in safe hands when they train with us."
