Olympia Challenge boosts SPOCE programme

Over 1,000 people visited the recent Project Challenge exhibition at Olympia, demonstrating the continued growth of Project and Programme Management.
The event’s major focus fell on a trio of key programmes: PRINCE2TM, the training programme which has galvanised the public sector; Managing Successful Programmes (MSP); and Management of Risk (M_o_R®).

The event also brought valuable publicity for SPOCE, the leading provider of PRINCE2TM services, which offers a wide range of training options covering project and programme management. Classroom training in PRINCE2 TM, MSP and M_O_R® has been the core of SPOCE’s business for the last ten years.

Interest in SPOCE’s e-learning products for PRINCE2 TM and MSP has been growing steadily too, with over 3,500 copies sold already. E-learning is increasing in popularity, as many people cannot find the time to attend classroom events, and it allows students to learn where they like, when they like, and at a pace which suits them.

A spokesman for SPOCE said: “PRINCE2 TM has seen massive growth in recent years, with nearly 60,000 exams taken in 2005, and it is now a standard for public sector and many private sector organisations. MSP is growing too, with a 400% increase in examinations last year.”

“It is clear from Project Challenge that many organisations that have structured project management in place are now looking to establish a standard method for programme management.”
