We all need to make sacrifices
Again MPs are complaining about the cuts to their numbers and the reshuffling of seats as the Boundary Commission seeks to reduce the size of the UK parliament.
In Scotland, seven MSPs will be cut. Although Scotland has fewer representatives than England, this is still a small number of jobs, especially compared will all the cuts seen so far in the public sector.
In these economically-pressed times, every part of the UK must take a share of the burden, and the people who consider and call for cuts and efficiency measures elsewhere should not be immune from these cuts themselves.
Obviously MPs and MSPs do an incredibly difficult and necessary job. But what about all the people who are recently unemployed? Were their jobs less important?
