Northern Powerhouse Partner aims to connect the North once again

In February this year, official Northern Powerhouse Partner, Cognitive Publishing, delivered EvoNorth 2019.  The two day event was designed to amplify and highlight future developments the region has to offer - uniting leaders responsible for fuelling the Northern Powerhouse agenda, including Dr Nicola Headlam, Head of the Northern Powerhouse for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).

EvoNorth 2019 not only showcased what talent and opportunity the North has to offer but the willingness to discuss, debate, and collaborate on key issues that inspire the people of the North in pursuing change for the better, as well as provide an opportunity for leaders to unite and create a platform to amplify key messages for change.

Speaking about the 2019 event, Tracy Fishwick, Managing Director of the Transform Lives Company said:: ‘Events like EvoNorth are vital, we do need more opportunities to come together across different sectors’.

EvoNorth is back, taking place on 4-5th March 2020. The two-day conference and networking dinner is filled with lively panel discussions, debates and exclusive updates from Northern Powerhouse leaders such as Martin McTague, Policy & Advocacy Chairman at FSB and Cllr Andrew Western, Leader of Trafford Council and Green City Region lead for the GMCA. The event will be connecting organisations looking to supply the Northern Powerhouse with buyers and key influencers from across the region.

EvoNorth will explore a wide variety of areas of investment including; Devolution, Transport and Connectivity, Business, Innovation and Investment, Health, Social Care and Wellbeing, Housing, Placemaking and Social Value, Energy, Infrastructure and Environment, Science and Technology, Education, Skills and Employment.

Roy Rowlands, Business Development Director and Event Organiser at EvoNorth said:

“It’s important that the North speaks with one voice on key issues - We are delighted to provide exactly that opportunity at EvoNorth again in 2020”
